About Richard Jones
I qualified as a Solicitor in 1988. In January 2000, I set up Mackenzie Jones Solicitors, a firm with offices in Chester and across the North Wales coast. I spend my working days between the various Mackenzie Jones offices.
In August 2010 I was appointed to sit as a Deputy District Judge on the Wales Circuit.
I am now also qualified, by examination and appointment, to hold the office of a Notary Public in England and Wales, and am a member of the Notaries Society.
A Notary Public is a specialist lawyer who provides internationally recognised legal services. My duty as a Notary Public is to prepare, attest, authenticate and certify deeds and other legal documents, for use anywhere in the world.
My work as a Notary is separate from my work as a Solicitor. My work as a Notary is regulated by the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury.
My Notarial Practice is registered with the Information Commissioner under registration no ZA454492.
I am a supporter of Everton FC. I enjoy cooking, walking, foreign travel and spending time with my family.
